This 2007 Bentley Continental GTC Convertible is a car that brings with it “a world of glamor and driving excitement,” according to one of the published driving impressions of the ultra-luxury drop-top missile. With more than 550 horsepower available from its twin-turbocharged W12, it would be difficult to argue its performance credentials. This example, with 38,000 miles on the odometer, was reportedly special-ordered in its unique Nautic Blue-over-Mocha leather combination. It also wears upgraded, later-edition aluminum wheels. There are no reported mechanical issues with the vehicle and the Carfax is clean.
POWERTRAIN
The Continental GTC’s twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter DOHC W12 engine, which has its roots in Volkswagen’s VR6 engine, was factory rated at 552 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. It’s matched with a ZF-supplied six-speed automatic transmission that is also said to perform normally and with no known leaks.
CHASSIS
The chassis and suspension components have been maintained in stock condition, with no reported needs or issues, but also no known recent service history. The car rolls on Pirelli tires mounted on upgraded, later-model seven-spoke alloy wheels. All are in very good condition, with no blemishes or curb rash on the wheels and good tread depth on the tires.
