This 1967 right-hand drive Jaguar Mk. II 2.4-liter sedan has a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. The Jag has a few cosmetic flaws from driving. New tires were added two years ago, a new suspension five years ago, and new leather and wood interior trim. This Mk. II runs strongly and has no current mechanical needs beyond speedometer recalibration.
Introduced in 1959, the Jaguar Mk. II was a revamp of the 1955-1958 sport sedan models. They swapped the 2.4-Liter and 3.4-Liter for their inline six-cylinder engine displacements. The Mk. II looked very similar, but had significant upgrades, including a wider rear track and more glass area for better visibility. Based on its size, performance and Jaguar’s renowned interior trim, these Jag sedans could legitimately be considered the progenitors of the compact sport-luxury segment, long before German brands claimed that mantle. The Mk. II continued in production until 1969.
