Henry Ford famously introduced the assembly line in 1913, cutting the time it took to produce a Model T from 12 hours to just 93 minutes. Once competitors adopted this practice, they began catching up to Ford's success. By 1927, Ford realized it was time to adopt a new model, and the Model A was born.
This Model A Roadster was professionally repainted in tan with blue accents over black fenders at a cost of almost $10,000; notice the fine tan-colored pinstriping on the accent areas. The interior and rumble seat have been reupholstered and all interior surfaces have been restored. Note the like-new condition of the steering wheel and instrument panel.
The car runs and drives beautifully and has the rare overdrive option. Beautiful and functional details include: Moto-Meter coolant-temperature gauge (atop the radiator) stainless steel mesh radiator guard, etched-glass wind-wings, faux-leather rack-mounted trunk, wheel trim rings, new convertible top with side curtains, chromed windshield support arms, and more.
